In the mid '90's Dewey E Orrick (a.k.a. Bubby because his older sister Becky could not say brother when they were little) decided he wanted some BBQ, however it was a Sunday and all the BBQ joints in Little Rock, AR were closed. So, he decided to purchase a backyard smoker from a local hardware store and as they say, the rest is history

Bubby because his older sister Becky could not say brother when they were little) decided he wanted some BBQ, however it was a Sunday and all the BBQ joints in Little Rock, AR were closed. So, he decided to purchase a backyard smoker from a local hardware store and as they say, the rest is history. From that day on, he's been cooking BBQ for friends and family the way he did the first day. Low and slow and with a little bit of rub and a whole lotta love. After all, his Mamaw (Imogene) Orrick is the one that told him, if you don't put love in your cooking, it will turn out terrible."
